Community WG

This WG is coordinating our community-related activities, including the Ignite Talks and AIoT Bootcamps.

Laurenz Kirchner is a partner at mm1 with a consulting focus on driving digital growth, helping his clients to become truly connected businesses. As a trained architect, MBA and experienced management consultant (including eight years McKinsey), Laurenz is a hybrid thinker with a strong ability to combine creative problem solving with solid business judgement. His consulting projects center on innovation, the development of digital products and ecosystems as well as data strategies for the Internet of Things.

Case Study WG

This WG is coordinating the work on AIoT Case Studies.

Daniel Werth is Senior Researcher and Director Multilateral Ecosystems at the Ferdinand Steinbeis Institute. In transfer-oriented projects in digital-based ecosystems, he strives to generate new added value for companies and added value to society. Daniel has over 15 years of experience in medium-sized companies, with a focus on wholesale and new services/business transformation. He received his doctorate from the LMU Munich in the field of business psychology.

Dirk Slama is Vice President Co-innovation and IT/IoT Alliances at Bosch, as well as Director of the AIoT Co-Innovation Hub at the Ferdinand-Steinbeis-Institut. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Ignite AIoT Framework. Dirk has over 20 years experience in very large-scale distributed application projects and system integration, including IoT, M2M and EAI. He holds an MBA from IMD Lausanne as well as a PhD in Business Informatics and a Diploma Degree in Computer Science from TU Berlin.
